1. Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:
“Content” | means any and all text, images, audio, video, scripts, code, software, databases, and any other form of information capable of being stored on a computer that appears on, or forms part of, Our Site, including but not limited to blog posts, publishing guides, author testimonials, package descriptions, and brand materials. |
“We / Us / Our” | means Authors & Co, the trading name of the hybrid publishing house founded by Abigail Horne. References to “Authors & Co” throughout these Terms carry the same meaning. |
“You / Your” | means the person accessing and using Our Site, whether as a visitor, prospective author, client, or otherwise. |
“Services” | means the hybrid publishing, ghostwriting, editorial, design, production, and distribution services offered by Authors & Co, as described on Our Site and in any separate client agreement entered into between you and Us. |
“Client Agreement” | means any separate contract, letter of engagement, or service agreement entered into between you and Authors & Co in relation to the Services. Where a Client Agreement exists, its terms shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions in the event of any conflict. |

- The Authors & Co name, logo, and associated brand assets are trade marks of Authors & Co. You must not use these marks without Our prior written consent.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes the provisions of Chapter III of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (‘Acts Permitted in Relation to Copyright Works’), which provides certain lawful exceptions to copyright.
